On November 30, 2006, The Nonproliferation Review hosted a briefing -- "Space Weapons: Then and Now" -- at the Washington, D.C. office of the Monterey Institute of International Studies. This stimulating event featured informed commentary based on the article in issue 13.1 entitled "U.S. Space Weapons: Big Intentions, Little Focus" written by Theresa Hitchens of the Center for Defense Information and Michael Katz-Hyman of The Henry L.
