International Advisory Board Meeting

The CNS International Advisory Board met on Monday, December 11, 2006, in Monterey, CA. CNS staff members presented research findings on a number of topics, including new challenges to space security, prospects for entry-into-force of the Central Asian Nuclear-Weapon-Free Zone, and the status of global nuclear disarmament. Egypt's Ambassador to the United States Nabil Fahmy gave a briefing to the group on Iran's nuclear activities and their implications for the Middle East. Following the board meeting, Ambassador Fahmy delivered a public lecture (streaming video) to the Monterey Institute community on Iran.
