Attribution: Post-Nuclear Event

A panel discussion of the realities of a domestic nuclear attack and the nuclear attribution process.

What are the ramifications of a nuclear attack, such as the detonation of a nuclear weapon by terrorists in a populated urban center? How can first responders and local authorities best react in its aftermath? How can the "nuclear signature" of fissile materials used in such an attack be identified and used to trace the origins of the materials?

Held by Georgetown University Institute for International Law and Politics and CNS, as a part of their joint Program On Nonproliferation Policy and Law.

Held April 22, 2009, at the ICC Auditorium, Georgetown University Main Campus.
