Dr. Patricia Lewis honored with 2009 Joseph A. Burton Forum Award
CNS is pleased to announce that the Deputy Director and Scientist-in-Residence, Dr Patricia Lewis, has been honored by the American Physical Society and awarded the 2009 Joseph A.
Burton Forum Award for her contributions to arms control and international security.
The Joseph A. Burton Forum Award was established to recognize outstanding contributions to the public understanding or resolution of issues involving the interface of physics and society, and endowed through a donation from Mrs. LeRoy Apker. The Award will be presented at the APS 2009 meeting at a special Ceremonial session.
