CNS Branch Office: Washington, D.C.
OUTREACH ACTIVITIES
The Washington office spearheads the public outreach efforts of CNS. With timely
dissemination of information through various media, such as fax blasts, large mailings,
listservs, and regular briefings, CNS aims to increase awareness of and concern
for the spread of weapons of mass destruction.
CBW Breakfast Seminar Series
In December 2005, the CNS launched a new series of seminars devoted to chemical and biological weapons (CBW) issues. The seminars, co-chaired by Michael Moodie and CNS Senior Fellow Jonathan Tucker, are designed for the Washington policy community, including U.S. government officials, congressional staffers, non-governmental analysts, and foreign diplomats.
Briefing Series
The Washington office holds briefings on nonproliferation and arms control concerns featuring a
broad spectrum of policy makers, issue experts, and media representatives.
