The Center for Nonproliferation Studies' evolving Project on Congress and Nonproliferation examines the
important role of Congress in helping to set U.S. nonproliferation policy and oversee its implementation. The
Project seeks to provide timely information regarding the events, legislation, and people essential to the effort
to reduce the threat of weapons of mass destruction. In addition, it aims to keep the academic, policy, and legislative
community informed of Congressional developments related to nonproliferation and WMD terrorism issues by disseminating a weekly listserv called the Monterey Institute Congressional Record Update.
This collection is one of the research projects of the CNS Washington D.C. Branch Office.
