The Monitoring Proliferation Threats Project has just published the
first of its new Fact Sheets. "Pakistan's Nuclear-Related Facilities" provides a comprehensive picture of
the country's nuclear fuel cycle capabilities, including reactors and research, fuel fabrication, and
heavy-water production facilities. Using only open-source data, this Fact Sheet lists all the known facilities
and their current activities. All sources are fully annotated and hypertext linked to their relevant abstracts
in the CNS database.
"Pakistan's Nuclear-Related Facilities" is presented as a map with "clickable" links leading to explanations
of pertinent sites in Pakistan. This datasheet is derived from a full-length article entitled
"Pakistan's Nuclear Weapons Program: a Status Report" (PDF format) in the Spring-Summer 1997
issue of The Nonproliferation Review. This original article is also available
electronically from this CNS Web site.
This document has been published in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. Download the
