Catherine Auer joined CNS in late 2006 as managing editor of the Nonproliferation Review. From 2000 to 2006 Ms. Auer worked for the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, first as assistant editor, then associate editor, and finally as managing editor. She earned a journalism master's degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, as well as bachelor's degrees in print journalism and English.
