CNS Staff: Mimi DoughertyMimi Dougherty is the Program Coordinator at the East Asia Nonproliferation Program. Her research focuses on China where trade and security issues intersect. She works on U.S. export control policy and China - Taiwan relations as well as oversees the program's database development and maintenance for the Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI). Mimi speaks fluent Chinese and runs EANP's daily operations. Mimi received her Masters in International Trade Policy from the Monterey Institute of International Studies (MIIS) and her undergraduate degree from University of California at Berkeley in Political Economy. Prior to coming to MIIS, Mimi served four years in the U.S. Army based in Germany and to Bosnia-Herzegovina in Operation Joint Guard as an Intelligence Officer. |
