Tanat Kozhmanov is a research assistant at the CNS NIS Representative Office in Almaty. Tanat joined the Almaty office in November 2002 after receiving his MA diploma in Political Science from the Philosophy and Political Science Department of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Almaty). Tanat contributes to the monthly newsletter International Export Control Observer. Currently, a doctoral student at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, he is working on a dissertation entitled "The National System of Export Control in the Republic of Kazakhstan."
