CNS Scholarship

The Center for Nonproliferation Studies offers scholarships to Monterey Institute graduate students working towards the Certificate in Nonproliferation Studies. Applicants should intend to pursue a career in the nonproliferation of weapons of mass destruction. Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis, with both scholarly and professional experience taken into account.

Prospective students applying for the CNS scholarship should, in addition to the Monterey Institute application procedure, send a resume and a letter describing their background and interest in the nonproliferation field to:

Scholarship application deadline: Fall Semester, Dec 1st (1st Cycle), Feb 1st (2nd Cycle) and Mar 15th (3rd Cycle); Spring Semester, Oct 1st.

MIIS Jonathan B. Tucker Memorial Scholarship

Jonathan B. Tucker The Jonathan B. Tucker Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of long-time staff member Jonathan B. Tucker (1954-2011). The scholarship will be awarded to Nonproliferation and Terrorism Studies M.A. students at MIIS specializing in chemical and biological nonproliferation issues.
