Monterey Bay A(H1N1) Vaccinations

A(H1N1) vaccine is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at the following Monterey County Clinic Services locations. Injections are given on a first-come,first-serve basis. Persons of all ages are eligible to be vaccinated at these locations:

  • Alisal Health Center, 559 E. Alisal St, Suite 201, Salinas, 755-8870
  • Seaside Family Health Center, 1150 Fremont, 899-8100

Special Note

Since the WHO has decided to no longer use the designation "swine" flu because the virus does not affect pigs and swine and only a small part of its genome has swine DNA, MBayFluWatch henceforth will use WHO's new designation, which is influenza A(H1N1).

MBayFluWatch, where Monterey Bay area residents access up to date influenza information.

MBayFluWatch is a collaborative effort between the Monterey County Health Department and the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies, which is also a Center for Public Health Preparedness.
