The James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies (CNS) invites applications for a senior research associate dealing with the Newly Independent States (NIS) nonproliferation issues. This position will entail research, analysis, and writing on nonproliferation and related security issues involving both state and non-state actors. This is an full-time, exempt staff position.
2010 CNS Postdoctoral/Sabbatical FellowshipPriority application deadline is March 1, 2010.
During his/her year in residence, the fellow will be expected to: (1) publish a significant work in the field of nuclear, biological, or chemical weapons proliferation/terrorism or related field; (2) contribute to ongoing research and programmatic activities at CNS; and (3) lecture in his/her area of specialty.
Director, Newly Independent States Nonproliferation Program (NISNP)The NISNP Director at CNS organizes and oversees the research, publication, and programmatic activities of the program. She/he also supervises the work of program staff members and the fulfillment of program deliverables under NISNP and CNS-wide grants and contracts.
Professor - Nonproliferation StudiesThe Graduate School of International Policy and Management at the Monterey Institute of International Studies invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Nonproliferation Studies. In addition to a faculty appointment, the opportunity exists for an affiliation with the Monterey Institute's James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies. The position is available at all ranks, but applicants should have teaching experience and a record of scholarly publication in the area of weapons of mass destruction and means for their control. |
