East Asia Nonproliferation Program (EANP)

Dedicated to research and training on East Asian nonproliferation issues.

Activities

EANP provides expert advice on East Asian security, arms control and nonproliferation issues to government and nongovernmental organizations as well as the media. These efforts aim to promote a reasonable and better-informed debate on these sensitive issues. EANP staff members conduct research visits and attend conferences in China, Japan, Taiwan, and the Russian Far East, as well as in Europe and North America.

EANP also promotes, sponsors, and organizes meetings in China and the United States to bring together Chinese and U.S. scholars and officials to discuss arms control and proliferation issues. Such meetings have included:
