Sean Dunlop

Sean Dunlop is a Research Associate at the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies (CNS). His work supports the Center's International Organizations and Nonproliferation Program.

Prior to becoming a full-time staff member, Sean worked as a graduate research assistant and contributed to the Inventory of International Nonproliferation Organizations & Regimes and the Nuclear Threat Initiative's UN Security Council Resolution 1540 Resource Collection. He has interned at the Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization in Vienna and at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.

Sean received his MA in International Policy Studies from the Monterey Institute of International Studies in 2009 with specializations in both nonproliferation studies and Arabic language. He was selected as a Nonproliferation Graduate Fellow to work in the Policy Office of the National Nuclear Security Administration Office of Nonproliferation and International Security. Prior to his graduate studies, Sean worked for two years as a Peace Corps volunteer in Belize.
