Activities

Elena Sokova is the Executive Director of the Vienna Center for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation (VCDNP), an international non-governmental organization managed by CNS in cooperation with the Austrian Foreign Ministry.

Background

Elena Sokova was most recently the Assistant Director of the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies (CNS) at the Monterey Institute of International Studies. Previously, she was Director of CNS' Newly Independent States Nonproliferation Program.

Education

Elena Sokova holds a Masters degree in International Public Administration from the Monterey Institute of International Studies (2000) and a Masters degree in Law from Moscow State University (1992).
