BASIC FACTS
Located on the northeast coast of Central America, Belize borders Mexico and Guatemala to the west and the Caribbean Sea to the east. Belize is a constitutional monarchy under a parliamentary democracy that gained its independence in 1981.
Capital: Belmopan
Belize does not possess any nuclear power plants, research reactors, or other nuclear facilities.
