BASIC FACTS
The Republic of Zimbabwe is a landlocked African country surrounded by Mozambique, the Republic of South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, and Malawi. Zimbabwe gained independence in 1965, and in 1980 changed its name was changed from the previously-held Rhodesia. Today Zimbabwe is a presidential republic.
Capital: Harare
There are no nuclear power plants or research reactors in Zimbabwe.
