BASIC FACTS

The State of Palestine is located in the West Bank, bordered by Israel and Jordan, as well as in the Gaza Strip, bordered by Israel and Egypt. In 1988 the Palestinian Liberation Organization proclaimed the establishment of the State of Palestine, recognized as a non-member observer state in the UN.

Capital: Jerusalem, Ramallah (administrative)

There are no nuclear power plants or research reactors in the State of Palestine.
