BASIC FACTS

Bosnia and Herzegovina is a southern European country located in the Balkans region and bordered by Serbia, Montenegro, and Croatia on the coast of the Adriatic Sea. Today Bosnia and Herzegovina is a federal parliamentary constitutional republic that proclaimed independence from the former Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in 1992, following the dissolution of the Soviet Union.

Capital: Sarajevo

There are no nuclear power plants or research reactors in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
