BASIC FACTS
The Nation of Brunei is located on the north coast of the island of Borneo in Southeast Asia. Brunei shares a border with Malaysia to the south and has access to the South China Sea through its northern coast. Brunei has an absolute monarchy form of government that gained independence in 1984.

Brunei does not possess any nuclear power plants, research reactors, or other nuclear facilities.
