BASIC FACTS
The Republic of Cameroon is located on the west coast of Central Africa, and borders Nigeria to the north, Chad to the Northeast, Central African Republic to the east, Republic of Congo to the southeast, Gabon and Equatorial Guinea to the south. Cameroon is a presidential republic that gained its independence in 1960.
Capital: Yaounde
Cameroon does not possess any nuclear power plants, research reactors, or other nuclear facilities.
