BASIC FACTS

The Republic of Chad is a landlocked country located in central Africa that borders Libya to the north, Sudan to the east, Central African Republic to the south, Cameroon to the southwest, Nigeria and Niger to the west. The Republic of Chad is a presidential republic that gained its independence in 1960. 

Capital: N’Djamena

Chad does not have any nuclear power plants, research reactors, or other nuclear facilities. Chad reportedly posesses natural uranium deposits, although explorations have not indicated that they are rich or large enough to justify commercial exploitation.
