BASIC FACTS
The Commonwealth of Dominica is a mountainous Caribbean island nation that lies between the French islands of Guadeloupe and Marie-Galante to the north and Martinique to the south. Dominica is a parliamentary republic that gained its independence in 1978.

Dominica does not possess any nuclear power plants, research reactors, or other nuclear facilities.
