BASIC FACTS

The State of Eritrea is located in the Horn of Africa, bordered by Sudan, Ethiopia, and Djibouti. Eritrea gained its independence in 1991, after 30 years of armed struggle with neighboring Ethiopia.

Capital: Asmara

There are no nuclear power plants or research reactors in Eritrea.
