BASIC FACTS

The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia is one of the most populous countries in Africa and is bordered by Eritrea, Sudan, South Sudan, Kenya, Somalia, and Djibouti. Ethiopia is a federal parliamentary republic that gained its independence in 1941.

Capital: Addis Ababa

There are no nuclear power plants or research reactors in Ethiopia.
