BASIC FACTS

Angola is situated on the west coast of Southern Africa with Namibia on its southern border, Zambia on its eastern border, the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the north and 1,650km of the Atlantic Ocean as its western border. Angola is a presidential republic that gained its independence in 1975.

Capital: Luanda

There are no nuclear power plants or research reactors in Angola.
