BASIC FACTS
The Republic of Liberia is located in West Africa and borders Sierra Leone to northwest, Guinea to the northeast, and Cote d’Ivoire to the east. Liberia is a presidential representative democratic republic that gained its independence in 1847.
Capital: Monrovia
Liberia does not possess any nuclear power plants, research reactors, or other nuclear facilities.
