BASIC FACTS
Singapore is a Member Country of the NAM Movement since 1967.
The Republic of Singapore is a sovereign city-state located in Southeast Asia, specifically between Malaysia and Indonesia. Singapore was under British or Japanese rule until after the Second World War, the country achieved its independence in 1963 along with the rest of the Malaysian states.
Capital: Singapore
Singapore has no nuclear power plants. The country only utilizes radioactive sources in medical, industrial and research applications.
